We are a partner business and for our guests the MeranCard is included in the price all year round.

MeranCard holders enjoy exclusive offers for their holidays in the Merano region. Public transport and cable cars, museums, sports and leisure worlds in Merano and the surrounding area offer many good reasons to discover the varied towns and excursion destinations in the Merano area.
You will receive the MeranCard upon arrival. The card is included in the accommodation price and is valid during your entire stay.

What does the MeranCard offer? The MeranCard contains various services which are available at no additional cost or at reduced prices:

  • Use of all public transport in the whole of South Tyrol including regional trains.

  • Free use of public cable cars in South Tyrol, including: the cable cars to Vöran, Mölten, Jenesien, Meransen, Kohlern and Ritten as well as the funicular railway to the Mendel and the Rittner Trambahn. Private cable cars cannot be used with the MeranCard.

  • One-off admission to around 80 museums throughout South Tyrol.

  • 10% discount on bike and ski rental at "Papin Sport" and "Sportservice Erwin Stricker".


How long is the MeranCard valid?
The MeranCard is available free of charge all year round at the participating businesses. The MeranCard is valid for 7 days. Those who have booked longer will receive another card after 7 days. The card must be validated each time you travel on public transport or in the museums. To enjoy the benefits of the MeranCard, the card must be presented before using a service.
Children between the ages of 6 and 14 receive a junior card. Children up to 6 years of age do not need a MeranCard.

The card is personalised and non-transferable.

For all our guests the MeranCard is included the whole year! It includes the use of all bus and regional train lines throughout South Tyrol and free admission to 80 South Tyrolean museums.

You can arrive quite relaxed by train or give your car a break after your journey. We are very well connected to the public transport network.

There are many things to marvel at along the wonderful Waalwege, the Spronsersee lakes in the Texel Group will remain in the memory of every experienced hiker, the Tappeiner Trail is enjoyed by young and old, or you can take the cable car up to the Hirzer aerial.
