WINTER EXPERIENCE IN THE FAMILY SKI AREA MERANO 2000
Merano 2000, the local mountain of the Merano people, lies above Hafling and is an extensive skiing and hiking area. The winter sunny plateau is perfect for families, beginners and experts. You can look forward to around 40 kilometres of slopes, mainly in the medium difficulty range, excellent refreshment facilities, cross-country ski runs and a large area for touring and snowshoe hikers. On Merano 2000 you can expect a ski school, a mini ski club, a ski kindergarten, two service stations with rental of all winter sports equipment as well as a ski depot for the storage of all equipment. The 3 km long toboggan run is an experience for the whole family.
Who enjoys speed? You can experience pure fun with the year-round rail toboggan run "Alpine Bob Meran 2000".
Merano 2000 can be reached by the Ifinger cable car (Naifweg) or by car on the road to Falzeben. From Kuens you can reach the valley station of the newly built cable car to Merano 2000 in about 10 minutes by car.
PFELDERS IN THE PASSEIERtal VALLEY, INEXPENSIVE, FAMILY-FRIENDLY AND GENTLY MOBILE
Wonderful winter days in one of the most snow-sure areas of South Tyrol. Ski slopes for beginners and experts, a wide cross-country ski run through the romantic Lazinsertal, the cross-country skiing centre in Innerhütt, two ski lifts for beginners, a modern combined lift with heated cabins and chairs, small and manageable but complete. A four-seater chair lift with weather protection hood and heated seats, which takes you up to an altitude of 2,520m, and a well-developed snow-making system are guarantees for your winter sports pleasure.
A ski rental with service and a ski and snowboard school are at your disposal. In addition you will find a natural ice skating rink in Pfelders and a horse-drawn carriage line to the lodge Lazinserhof.
The ski area Pfelders in the Passeiertal valley can be reached in about 50 minutes by car. A good bus connection is also available.
